Presenter: Andrew Houtenville

Summary: The presentation will describe our 2010 Disability Statistics Compendium, including a discussion of time trends in employment and the federal expenditures. In addition, I will provide an update of disability data collection by federal agencies, such as the development of the Current Population Survey-Disability Supplement.

Bio: Andrew J. Houtenville, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Economics and the Institute on Disability Research Director at the University of New Hampshire and is the Principal Investigator of the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Employment Policy and Measurement.. He has extensive experience as a public finance economist using national survey data and administrative records to examine patterns and trends in the prevalence, health, health care, and employment of people with disabilities and the influence of state and federal policies.
