8th Annual Summit on Vocational Rehabilitation Performance Management Excellence

September 10-11, 2015 • San Diego, California

 

Hosted by the Interwork Institute at San Diego State University, the Summit Group: Performance Management in Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Rehabilitation Program Evaluation Network (RPEN)

Overview

The Planning Team for the 8th Annual Summit on Vocational Rehabilitation Performance Management Excellence invites you to submit a proposal to present at this year’s Summit. All submissions are due by midnight EST on June 12, 2015. 

The objectives of the Summit Conference are to:

  1. provide educational experiences based on the expertise of knowledgeable professionals;
  2. encourage collaboration and information sharing; and
  3. inspire movement towards excellence in program performance as a means of providing quality employment-related services to people with disabilities.

We encourage program evaluation and quality improvement practitioners, researchers, advocates,   students, educators, advocates, and those in administrative positions to submit papers for presentations.  Proposals pertaining to all areas of performance management, program evaluation, and quality improvement are invited. This year we encourage topics that address State Rehabilitation Council partnerships, evaluation of transition services, and state plan development under WIOWA. Proposals should be submitted by completing the online proposal submission form, copying it and sending it by e-mail to Darlene Groomes (groomes@oakland.edu) in advance of the deadline. Guidelines to Assist in Preparing the Proposal

  • Concurrent Sessions will be 70 minutes in length
  • Incomplete proposals will not be read.
  • Please ensure that your title and description reflect the content of your proposed presentation as accurately as possible.
  • Lead presenters will be notified by e-mail no later than July 15th if the proposal they submitted has been accepted.
  • The proposal review committee accepts electronic submissions only.

Final date for submission of proposals is June 12, 2015.
