— (09/24/2013) Currently, KY-OVR is addressing the issue of serving individuals with most significant disabilities who are well past transition age but have never worked or even volunteered in the community. We would like to help these individuals find the best way to enter the workforce and possibly address some concerns before pursuing employment. In order to accomplish this task, we would like to provide a Trial Work Experience to these individuals. In the past, we didn’t use this opportunity very much, and now that we have a greater need, we realize that what we are currently providing might not be sufficient. We would like to know how other states assist those who need a Trial Work Experience before determining eligibility. If you have a service fee memorandum or schedule that would be most helpful.
