Program Description: Dr. Houtenville will speak with the group about the potential of generating state- and local level statistics on the population with disabilities for use by state VR agencies. These statistics encompass topics such as the prevalence rate, employment rate, median labor earnings, and would be derived form national surveys (e.g., American Community Survey, Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey). This presentation may serve as the start to a dialog that would result in the StatsRRTC estimating a specific set of statistical tables that would address the needs of state VR agencies.
